Together for the good of our neighbours, the flourishing of our community, and the glory of god.

Welcome!

Welcome to the website of 'The Gathering' church' based in North Leatherhead. We are simply a bunch of ordinary people who believe that they are caught up in an extraordinary story all about how how God has sought to bring healing and restoration to this world through the life, death, and resurrection of his Son, Jesus. We also believe that God invites us to be part of this work and so together we are seeking ways of living for the good of our neighbours, the flourishing of our community, and for the glory of God.

To help us  figure out how best to do this we have five core values that lie at the heart of all that we are and all that we do. These five values are Shared Faith, Shared Lives, Shared Practices, Shared Purpose, and Shared Place and you can lean more about why these are important to us by clicking on the icons below. We meet regularly at Leatherhead Community Hub (LCH) on the Kingston Rd but you can lean more about us by clicking on the 'About' section at the top of the page.

We seek to be a community built upon shared...

faith
lives
practices
purpose
Place

We would love to be able to tell you more about all of this sometime,  so please do get in contact with us or have a look at our 'About' page to hear more.

PRAYER FOR PENTECOST

In light of the celebration of Pentecost that is coming up we are dedicating 48 hours of prayer to call for a fresh move of the Holy Spirit in our community. This will take place from 10am on Friday 22nd May and run to 10am on Sunday 24th May and will be held in the Pigeon Shed. We want to encourage everyone to get involved whether you are seasoned prayer warrior or if this is all a bit new to you because it is our conviction that learning to pray is for crucial for every believer and everyone has a part to play.
